Snapshot: October 31 onboarding to November 14, 2025 client check-in

01

A narrow set of requirements for a long-established contractor

Scott Electric is a Corpus Christi electrical contractor serving South Texas. At onboarding, journeyman electricians were the priority, with specific experience and site-access requirements making the search more demanding than a general electrical posting.

The company needed candidates who could meet the role's practical qualifications, including TWIC requirements and the hiring process for industrial work. A large stack of unrelated applications would not solve that problem.

Screen for the requirements before handing over candidates

Yellowstone Local set up the recruiting workflow and a dedicated recruiter to source candidates and conduct initial phone screens. Scott Electric retained the interviews, employment decisions and final hiring requirements.

In the first check-in, Sarah said the recruiter had narrowed the candidates to a few strong fits. The two journeyman candidates selected had both worked for Scott Electric before, making this a successful reconnection with experienced former employees.

Two hires confirmed at the first check-in

Scott Electric onboarded October 31, 2025. By the November 14 client check-in, Sarah confirmed two journeyman hires, with starts expected that day and the following Monday.

Sarah described the candidates as exactly what she needed and said she felt aligned with the recruiter. The meaningful result was the quality of the shortlist against a demanding specification, demonstrated by two early hiring decisions.
