We’re looking for people who care deeply about mastering their craft. People who take ownership, bring real energy to the work and keep finding ways to get better. If you want to build something meaningful alongside others who are fully engaged, you’ll fit here.

My name is Warren Lentz. The work we do at Yellowstone Local reaches well beyond a hire or a contract. It affects business owners trying to build something, people making decisions about their careers and families counting on both. When someone trusts us with that responsibility, I take it seriously. I expect everyone who works here to do the same.
This is a demanding time to run a business. When our clients face tighter budgets and rising costs, they need more judgment, discipline and care from us. I want people beside me who own the outcome, obsess over mastering their craft, tell the truth and treat a client’s business with the care they would give their own. Those expectations matter most when meeting them takes more effort.
I expect the world from our team, and I give it back in return. That means being present, making hard decisions, taking responsibility for my own mistakes and putting real effort into helping you succeed. You can expect honest feedback and a leader who takes your development and success personally.
Before you apply, understand that I’m serious about this. If you bring that same care, ambition and accountability to your work, I’d like to meet you.
Yellowstone Local is the all-in-one talent partner for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and construction companies across the U.S. We run programmatic ads, passive outreach, AI-powered hiring software, expert recruiters, and employer branding for hundreds of blue-collar shops doing $1M to $20M a year.
We help skilled-trades business owners build teams they can rely on. That responsibility deserves our best work. We want colleagues who care about the person on the other side of the conversation and take pride in following through, even when the answer takes more effort.
Being an A player here is about your daily choices: the standard you hold, the responsibility you take and the care you show the people who rely on you. These are the values we expect everyone to put into practice.
We study the work, ask better questions and practice the skills that make us more useful. Your development is something you actively own, with feedback and support from the people around you.
We follow through on our commitments, pay attention to the result and take responsibility when something misses the mark. The response is to learn, correct it and make the next outcome better.
Challenges are part of the job. We think clearly, ask for help early and keep working toward a solution. Clients and teammates should be able to count on us to move things forward.
The details matter because real people depend on them. We prepare, communicate clearly and care enough to finish the work properly. We want to be proud of what we put our name on.
We tell the truth, keep our word and do the right thing when nobody is watching. Respect and trust are earned through the way we treat clients, candidates and each other.
We’re building a team of people who are invested in the mission and one another. Bring curiosity, initiative and a willingness to put in the extra effort that great work sometimes requires.
We care about building a team where everyone brings real effort and takes responsibility. A purely transactional approach will not work here.
If you take ownership, care about your craft and want the people around you to succeed, we’d like to meet you.

“Fantastic company, awesome people, great culture, and the kind of place that makes me say ‘I'm never leaving’.”
We want you to understand the work, meet the people you’d work with and have time to ask thoughtful questions. We’ll also look closely at your experience, how you approach problems and the standards you hold yourself to. Here’s how the process is structured.
Phone call with our talent team. We cover your background, why this role is interesting to you, comp expectations, and answer your questions about us. If we're aligned, we move forward in 48 hours.
Video call with the person you'd report to. They walk through what success looks like in the role, the team, and the day-to-day. You walk through your relevant work and what you're looking for.
Role-specific. Sales reps run a mock discovery call. Recruiters review and triage a candidate stack. Engineers solve a real (paid) problem. Designed to mirror the actual work, not be a hazing ritual.
Three to four conversations across the team. One is always with Warren. You leave knowing what it'd be like to work here. We leave knowing whether to hire.
We talk to two professional references. We make a decision within five business days. If it's a yes, you'll get an offer that's already at the top of the band we posted. If it's a no, you'll get specific, useful feedback within a week.
Average time from first call to offer: 18 days. We don't ghost. We don't string people along. If we say no, we say no fast.
